Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has spoken about Liverpool’s failed title challenge in 2014.
"I have no regrets about the timing of my retirement, but there is one thing I would have liked to do in the season after I retired and that's play the second half of the Chelsea game," said Carragher.
“I just wonder whether I could’ve brought something if I was out there. Stevie’s head had gone a little bit, Suarez was gone and everything just seemed to go out the window.” It’s a big what-if, but the leadership he brought could have been crucial to the back line at that late stage of the season.
