Before announcing his shock spit from girlfriend Louise Davies, James Martin revealed his thoughts on marriage. The celebrity chef was with Louise for 12 years before separating.
However, James previously explained why he doesn't want to walk down the aisle. The chef admitted he wouldn't want to splash the cash on a wedding and is "not interested" in tying the knot. He and Louise first started dating in 2011 and went on to live together in Hampshire. James also spoke in the past about not having children, saying it's a "lifestyle choice" and he's made "sacrifices" due to his job.
He also reportedly said in the past: “The sacrifices you make are huge. All my mates are married and have children. It was quite funny – my friends came over to my house last week, and we were walking through my garages when one of them said, ‘So this is what you could have had if you didn’t have kids’.”
