James Gunn's DC Slate Revealed: First 10 Projects Include Superman, Batman, Green Lantern
This is the big one. Matt Reeves’ Batman films are still happening but will not be part of the DCU. The DCU however will have not just its own Batman, but a Robin too. “This is the story of Damian Wayne,” Gunn said. “Batman’s actual son who we didn’t know existed for the first eight to 10 years of his life. He was raised as a little murderer, an assassin. He’s a little son of a bitch. He’s my favorite Robin.
But that’s not all. “It’s going to feature other members of the extended Bat-family just because we feel like they’ve been left out of the Batman stories in the theater for far too long,” Safran said. Also of note, Gunn played coy when asked if Dick Grayson would make an appearance.
