Jada Pinkett Smith claimed Chris Rock once asked her out amid rumours that she and husband Will Smith were getting divorced.
Speaking to People, she added: “And this particular summer, Chris, he thought that we were getting a divorce. So he called me and basically he was like, ‘I’d love to take you out’. 'And I was like, ‘What do you mean?’ He was like, ‘Well, aren’t you and Will getting a divorce?’ I was like, ‘No, Chris, those are just rumours’.OK! has contacted Chris' representatives for comment.
Jada said she wanted ‘peace’ with Chris following the incident and she had a desire for the ‘misunderstanding’ between the pair to be cleared up. She went on to discuss how she believed the bad blood between them may have stretched back to 2016 - when she unintentionally offended the comedian.
