IU Donates 250 Million Won To Meaningful Causes For Her Birthday
On May 16, IU uploaded four donation certificates on Twitter, showing that she had made a generous donation of 250 million won for her birthday. IU had donated to four different foundations: The Happiness Foundation, Heart to Heart Foundation, KUMFA , and KFSSC under the name “IUAENA,” which is a combination of IU and her fan club UAENA.
She added the caption, “Things that I learned from UAENA, things that I felt through UAENA, and things that I received from UAENA will always be materials that get IU to move and practice [kindness]. I love you. Thank you so much for today as well.”
