Corrie fans were quick to notice she had been 'missing' from screens
Kate Ford has played Tracy Barlow on the Cobbles since 2002. She took over the role from Dawn Acton and quickly became one of Weatherfield's most notorious villains.
But fans were quick to pick up on her being "missing" for several weeks as tonight's episode saw her back on screens. Tonight's episode saw Tracy with her brother Peter as they discussed Stephen Reid's death. Another wrote: "Tracy's back!" As a third added: "Tracy talking sense as usual." A fourth commented: "Finally Tracy is back!"
Later in the episode Peter was seen being questioned again by detectives after killing serial killer Stephen where he was told he would not be going to prison. But this left fans confused as they wondered what is next for the character.
