'He should be protected at all costs'
Coronation Street fans have claimed Roy Cropper should be "protected at all costs" as he remains under the spotlight of a murder investigation.
Recently, news swept across the Coronation Street cobbles that café owner and Lauren's boss Roy Cropper was quizzed by the police after evidence seemed to connect him to blood found on the curtains of Lauren's flat. Residents were seen on Monday visiting the local café to offer their support to the longstanding resident but two unfamiliar faces soon arrived.
As they resort to violence, Carla Conner and Nick Tilsley race to his rescue just in time. After the altercation ends, Shona Platt discovers her stepson Max is responsible for letting details slip to Rhys during his secret prison visit. Many fans remain convinced that it's simply not the case that mild-mannered Roy could be capable of murder. One demanded: "Roy should be protected at all costs".
