ITV have yet to confirm the return of Celebrity Big Brother but it is widely expected following the success of the reboot of its sister show that used to be broadcast on Channel 4
It is understood Philip Schofield is being eyed up for the long-awaited return of Celebrity Big Brother. The show will return to ITV following the current initial reboot of Big Brother on ITV2.
Schofield, 61, stepped down from ITV's This Morning earlier this year following controversy about his relationship with a younger colleague. Since then he's completely stepped away from TV and the limelight since quitting the role he enjoyed for more than two decades.A source told The Sun: "Celebrity Big Brother is coming back and ITV want massive names to kick it off.
On the possible return of Celebrity Big Brother, ITV recently said: "At present we are focused on the current series of Big Brother and any announcements regarding future series will be made in due course."
