Israel's PM resisted calls for a ceasefire but said humanitarian pauses could be possible to allow aid in and Israeli hostages out
Explosions were reported overnight across Gaza, including the southern Gazan city of Khan Younis where hundreds of thousands of civilians have fled for their safety. There have been reports of air strikes in the southern area of Rafah, near the border crossing with Egypt.
Israel ordered Palestinian civilians to leave their homes in northern Gaza and travel south, triggering the migration of tens of thousands of people.
