Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has responded to the US announcement of four hour pauses to allow for humanitarian aid. Elsewhere, Hamas claims IDF hit three hospitals with overnight airstrikes.
We're joined now by Lindsey German, the national convenor of the Stop the War Coalition, who has organised tomorrow's pro-Palestine march.The march has been the subject of much controversy - given that it coincides with Armistice Day. She is first asked why she thinks the march should go ahead. 'We felt that with what's happening in Gaza and what continues to happen in Gaza, the number of deaths, the civilians now fleeing to the south... that we have to keep demonstrating.
'We don't think it's inappropriate to have it on that day and we're calling for a ceasefire, which is actually what an armistice is.'So in a way, it's quite an appropriate day to be remembering the dead of the past, but also to say we don't want the wars of the present to continue.'She also says a number of precautions have been made to avoid disruption to those wishing to participate in Armistice Day services.
