The new third-generation 2023 Chevrolet Montana, the next member of Chevrolet's global vehicle family, will be made in South America at the GM São Caetano do Sul plant, alongside the Chevy Tracker, the crossover on which it's apparently based. Chevy confirms that the new Montana is in the final stages of development and should arrive in places like Brazil in 2023.
Since the Chevy Montana isn't made here—and unless GM somehow green lights a monumental project to make that happen—it's unlikely we'll ever see a Chevy Montana ZR2 Bizon or an electric Montana and Santa Cruzes. It's a cryin' shame, but at least we can be happy for those who obtain our unobtainable.
