Iran is reportedly selling Russia surface-to-surface ballistic missiles in addition to suicide drones to help the Russian war effort in Ukraine, western officials say.
, with Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov claiming last week that Russia was close to depleting its high-precision missile arsenal.
"By using hundreds of high-precision missiles against civilian objects of Ukraine, the aggressor state reduces its ability to strike the military targets," Reznikov said. Some reports have even indicated that Russia has begun using S-300 anti-air munitions for attacks on ground targets, a sign that Moscow may look to friendly nations such as Iran for help to increase its stock of weapons.
