iPhone 15 Pro might change the mute switch and the volume rocker

Apple's iPhone15Pro might ditch the two volume buttons for a unified, solid-state volume rocker. Also, say goodbye to the mute switch?

There are several design elements that have been mostly static on the iPhone for years, even as the phone has grown in size and the display has evolved. One such element is the volume rocker, which still consists of two pill-shaped buttons on the left side of the device. That might change this fall, as recent rumors suggest that the iPhone 15 Pro will feature a single volume button similar to what we saw on the original iPhone .

. Apple has always used two pins on each of the volume buttons , but the iPhone 15 Pro CAD drawings only show two pins in total. Almost 100% sure that the iPhone 15 Pro will LONG Unified Volume button, rather than 2 separate ones. While making our iPhone 15 Pro Concept, we’ve found that Apple uses 2 pins on each of the 2 volume buttons. The iPhone 15 Pro CAD only shows 2 pins on a longer volume button.
