The name of the driver who died in the fatal crash has not yet been released.
Prayer candles, a cross bearing the word “Family,” flowers, an empty bottle of pomegranate liqueur, and a cluster of colorful mylar balloons – two heart-shaped - tied to a sign post serve as a memorial to the individual who was killed when their vehicle drove into the bollards on the Pennsylvania Capitol grounds in Harrisburg early Sunday morning.
The driver, who has yet to be identified by authorities, was pronounced dead on the scene, Thompson said.He said police are working with the Dauphin County coroner’s office to determine the cause of death. A spokeswoman for the coroner’s office was unable to provide any further information at the time of this post.
