The South African powerhouse is a former World Player of the Year at Sevens level
Ulster rugby have announced the signing of powerful South African Sharks winger and former World Rugby Sevens Player of the Year Werner Kok.
The 31-year-old is a former Blitzbok champion and has been a stalwart for his nation in the Sevens game, with honours including a 2014 Commonwealth Games Gold and a bronze medallist at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.Kok then switched to the 15s game and enjoyed stints at Western Province and French Top 14 giants, Toulouse before playing in the Ultimate Rugby Championship in recent season with Sharks.
"I want to thank Ulster and the team for this incredible opportunity. I hope to make you proud on and off the field. After a difficult season and the departure of heach coach Dan McFarland, the arrival of a winger in the style of Kok is exactly what Ulster need to get fans excited and engaged.
