PennDOT says the ramps at Centerville Road and Route 30 in East Hempfield Township will be shut down starting Friday night.
A closure is scheduled for this weekend at a busy interchange in Lancaster County.PennDOT said the ramps at Centerville Road and Route 30 in East Hempfield Township will be shut down from 9 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Monday, weather permitting.A detour will be in place using Route 741 , Route 462 and College Avenue.During this time, there will be lane restrictions on Centerville Road.
This work is expected to continue through the winter months.The Centerville Road Interchange Improvement Project consists of structure replacement, roadway widening, guide rail improvements, traffic signal improvements and other construction.The project includes work on Centerville Road from Cornerstone Drive to Marietta Avenue , as well as Marietta Avenue from Centerville Road to Stony Battery Road. The $36.3 million project is expected to be completed by July 22, 2025.
