An interactive mural dedication at the Lighthouse for the Blind of Fort Worth is set for Sept. 21.
the 2000-square-foot mural covers the west exterior wall of the Lighthouse building, along South Adams Street.
The panoramic, colorful painting features textured sections for a tactile experience, stainless-steel railings with inspirational messages in Braille and six audio devices that broadcast descriptions of the art. The audio devices are repurposed traffic signals donated by Consolidated Traffic Controls. A companion website accessible by a QR code provides visitors a more in-depth experience.
