International journalists are not permitted to enter Gaza at the moment but today our foreign affairs correspondent Secunder Kermani was taken inside the strip by the Israeli military.
During the short trip we were not able to film beyond their jurisdiction. In addition our footage was subject to a security review by the Israeli Defence Force. But our words and the questions we posed were not subject to any restriction.
We decided to agree to these restrictions in order to be able to report on part of the Israeli operation inside the territory.
