Elliot Drake-Linney died in Stepping Hill Hospital on June 20 last year
Elliot Drake-Linney, of Station Road, Marple was born on July 18 at Stepping Hill Hospital last year and tragically died just two days later, an inquest hearing has been told.
At the opening of an inquest at Stockport Coroners' Court on Wednesday morning police coroner's officer Laura Taylor confirmed Elliot was identified by his mother and there were no concerns regarding his identity.Senior coroner Alison Mutch said that following a post mortem Elliot’s cause of death was ‘unascertained’ and formally opened an inquest into his death.
A pre-inquest review date was fixed for September 6 this year with the full inquest to be held on October 10.“My condolences go to the family of Elliot at this difficult time,” she said.
