'All hands on deck please, because I want this to be done properly'
A senior prosecutor was forced to apologise after a mum travelled thousands of miles for her daughter's inquest - to be left waiting for answers again. Nosheen Akhtar, also known as Sarah Hussain, died aged 31 after suffering severe burns at her home in Bury.

Proceedings resumed on July 17, when Ms Judge confirmed she had received the footage, and she adjourned the inquest again so the CPS could review the evidence in the case.
Ms Judge added that she was now 'back to July' in terms of progress made on the inquest. No CPS representative appeared in court initially this morning, either in person or online. Ms Judge told the court of written correspondence she had received from GMP and the CPS in recent months, which suggested matters had been in hand. On October 20, she received a letter from the CPS which stated it had reviewed the evidence and would not pursue any criminal charges, but this information was not passed on to Mrs Bibi or Ms Akhtar's husband, Waqas Mahmood.
As the inquest took another twist this morning, an exasperated Mr Mahmood spoke out, telling the coroner: "I feel like I want to say to them, just charge me." Ms Judge replied: "You are entirely entitled to your view."
