Two TikTok accounts, which are believed to be linked with inmates locked in HMP Barlinnie, have posted a number of videos complaining about food and shouting they want to go hame.
Two TikTok accounts, believed to be operated by inmates in Glasgow 's Barlinnie prison, have been used to show their lives inside the infamous Big Hoose .
A later post shows three phones lying on the table top as the user pans around the cell. The Scottish Prison Service logo can be seen on the screen in front of the individual filming. A second user, who also claims to be locked in the prison, has also posted a number of videos from 'inside' Barlinnie. In one clip, which has received, almost 500 likes, the table is swarmed with Pot Noodles, crisps and Whey Protein, it's captioned 'Barlinnie Canteen. Get me hame.'
In the comment section of a post showing the view of a firework display from the prison cell someone asks if it was 'Notts' but the individual behind the account replies 'Barlinnie'.It is illegal for prisoners to have access to personal mobile phones whilst incarcerated, and those caught with the devices can have two more years added to their sentence. Inmates are also not allowed to use social media platforms whilst in custody.
