Police investigating after infant found dead in southwest Houston gas station bathroom
Police were investigating after an infant was found dead Sunday at a gas station in southwest Houston, officials said.
Officers began the investigation around 4:25 a.m. Sunday at a gas station in the 13000 block of South Post Oak Road, according to the Houston Police Department. Witnesses told police a woman had entered the gas station bathroom that morning and left about 15 minutes later, officials said. Hours later, another customer went into the bathroom and found the infant girl.Forensic examiners have not yet identified the child.
Paramedics came to the scene and discovered the girl had been dead for hours before someone found her, officials said.
