Silverburn has raised over £40,000 during the summer thanks to a huge indoor beach.
A top-up from the centre’s Silverburn Cares programme rounded the total up to £41,000 which will be donated to Glasgow Children's Hospital CharityFunds raised at Silverburn this summer are being used to support babies, children and young adults at the Royal Hospital for Children. “The generosity shown by our guests has been outstanding. Through what is a difficult time for many, our guests have together raised a phenomenal amount for Glasgow’s young patients. Thank you to everyone who has enjoyed our Flamingo Summer and kindly donated.”
Additionally, volunteers from Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity, who manned the beach and pop-up store for the duration of its run, were rewarded for their efforts with a complimentary meal donated by the centre’s Wagamama restaurant.
