Police say the man sent the singer-songwriter a video on Instagram, saying “he would happily wear a bomb if he cannot be with his soul mate.”
According to an affidavit, 36-year-old Mitchell Taebel sent threatening messages to Taylor Swift, her management team, dancers, and her father between March and May 2023.he sent the singer-songwriter a video on Instagram, saying “he would happily wear a bomb if he cannot be with his soul mate.”
In addition to the messages, Taebel allegedly traveled from Indiana to Swift's home in Nashville on May 5, and was escorted off the property. He had been placed on a threat/concern list to prevent him from buying tickets, but was able to enter the stadium after getting a ticket from a third-party company.
