Amazing effort
A GLASGOW pub has collected more than 300 Easter eggs from the community to be given to those in need of a special treat.
Staff began collecting the eggs in March as a way to help those facing pressures from the cost-of-living crisis, which continues to put a strain on finances. The collection was part of a wider plan by Proper Pubs, the community division of Admiral Taverns, which The Florida Park is part of. Matthew Gurney, operations director for Proper Pubs, said: “We have always championed community pubs because we understand the value they bring to millions of people across the country.– it is an integral part of the Glasgow community where people come together to support one another.
