Hundreds of people travelled through a Belfast city centre train station for the final time as it closes operations after 200 years.left the station at 11.32pm on Friday, May 10, heading to Bangor. Those travelling on the service were issued with a commemorative ticket to mark the occasion.
At the entrance to the platform in the station, a board was calling for people to write their messages and memories of Great Victoria Street train station. Plenty of travel enthusiasts from across the island of Ireland also gathered at the station for the send-off.
