The listed building has suffered extensive damage through neglect and repeated arson attacks.
Having stopped functioning as a court back in 1998 after nearly 150 years of use, the 19th century listed building has fallen into a serious state of disrepair following years of neglect and isnce played host to some of the biggest trials in Northern Ireland,DUP
The building, which has planning permission to be converted to a hotel, was put on the market by Signature Living in 2019. "Its current state is an absolute disgrace and is an indictment upon how private developers can destroy our built heritage. "It must be brought back into public ownership. Authorities should have taken action by now and any further delay in saving this building cannot be allowed."
