The property is located in the gated Emerald Bay community, and is the most expensive home sale recorded there, Mr. Smith said. The home received multiple offers, he said.The Wall Street Journal reported . He spent approximately six years planning and building the home, which has five bedrooms and roughly 1,000 square feet of outdoor living space with an outdoor shower and hot tub. The home also has a fitness studio, sauna, wine vault and home theater.The median listing price of a home in Laguna Beach was $3.9 million in July, up 33.6% from the same time last year, according to data from Realtor.com.
