The only Supreme Court justice to have been impeached was Justice Samuel Chase in 1805 for conduct on the bench that was deemed overly partisan. He was acquitted by the Senate.Ginni Thomas insisted to the Washington Free Beacon this month that she and her husband keep their careers completely separate from one another. “Clarence doesn’t discuss his work with me, and I don’t involve him in my work,” she said.
Clarence Thomas was hospitalized last week with "flu-like symptoms." The high court has remained silent on his condition since making the announcement about his admittance to the hospital.
