THE leading lady of a huge Hollywood film has confirmed it is set to return with a sequel – 20 years later.
The actress – who starred alongside Lindsay Lohan in the Disney comedy film – said the reboot would be happening.The star was beside Linsday in the 2003 filmstarred in the original Freaky Friday film back in 2003, where she played mum Tess Coleman., as daughter Anna, the pair accidentally swap bodies in a hilarious turn of events.
Freaky Friday, which was a remake of the original film released in 1976, was a huge success in Hollywood. So much so – that for more than two decades, fans have been calling for the film to have its own sequel.
