The city's culture team wants to grow the festive offer with the return of the popular attraction this Christmas
The green shoots of Spring may only just be beginning to poke through but Christmas planning is underway with plans to reintroduce an ice rink at Liverpool’s iconic Pier Head.
A tender document is live looking for organisations to take on the running of an ice rink and other entertainment in keeping with the surroundings.READ MORE: Couple doing refurb find hidden mystery "The 2024 Christmas offer will take place on council land, at Pier Head, Liverpool Waterfront, pending consultation with stakeholders, operational and logistical considerations and bid submission proposals.”
Around half of those surveyed made a day trip to visit the market, with almost one in five organising an overnight stay to coincide with it. The market proved most popular with couples and those aged between 25 and 34.
