With North Berwick being crowned the 'best place to live' in the UK by The Sunday Times, Scotland Now's Alexander Smail has looked back to when he visited the town himself.
One scenic Scottish town recently made headlines across the country when it was named the "best place to live" in the UK.
I wasn't surprised at all when I learned last week that North Berwick had been named the best place to live in the UK by The Sunday Times. I still remember my trip to the town like it was yesterday, and I had an absolutely amazing time. Another highlight of my trip to North Berwick was the amazing people I met, one of whom was Jodie Burgess, 43, who manages local paddlesports business Sea Beyond. Having lived in the town for eight years, she described it as "lovely" and praised its "vibe and atmosphere".
After I was done with the tour, I was really curious to check out North Berwick's town centre. The town is well known for its independent shopping, so I spent some time just wandering around.
