McDonald's new limited edition burger will set customers back around £5.49 for just the sandwich
The new McDonald's menu launched in restaurants today. It sees the return of firm favourites such as mozzarella dippers and the Chicken Big Mac, as well as the Cadbury Creme Egg McFlurry just in time for Easter.
But anyway, presentation wise it was fairly average. It didn't look anywhere near as appetising as the advert - but when do they ever? The red onions were in huge chunks rather than the neat rings shown on the website, the patties to be honest looked as if they'd been launched on with no thought and the lettuce was mostly stalks.
On first bite, all I could taste was pepper. It was very overwhelming, not like nice creamy peppercorn sauces I've had before. For me it was quite spicy, and the after taste in the back of your throat wasn't hugely pleasant. Overall, it was a pretty underwhelming experience, and at 672 kcal, it did feel like a waste of calories.
