Leah Lazarus swore to never have any surgery done again and now feels less confident in her body than she's ever been
A woman spent £10,000 in order to get weight loss surgery and dropped six dress sizes - but now wishes she'd "never done it".
"I felt confident in the private hospital I chose but as soon as I woke up from surgery, I knew something was wrong because I was in unbearable pain. After the surgery, I spoke to a medic once and never heard from them again. She began researching weight loss surgery in April 2022 and came across a private hospital offering the procedure. It was only one month later that she would undergo the surgery, however, things instantly took a turn for the worse the moment she woke up.
"I wasn't able to keep anything down because I was in so much pain, but it was also because I was worried out of my mind about my children. Feeling weak and emotionally exhausted - I thought I'd never see my family again."
