Currie, from Glasgow, was speaking to the Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg programme ahead of a BBC Radio 4 documentary about the impact of his diagnosis. He described already having to focus on holding a plectrum and having to concentrate on hitting notes when he is singing. Currie said: "I know it will get worse, at what rate nobody knows, so I know I'm going to have to stop."
