An intern who refused to chip in for their boss' expensive leaving gift is now receiving weird looks from their colleagues.
However, since ignoring the request to chip in, she's receiving weird looks from her fellow workers, who she suspects disapprove of her behaviour.In his Reddit post, she said: "I am an intern in a big company, but still, an intern. I make a decent amount for the moment in career I'm but nothing outrageous.
"The suggestion was sent to everyone's corporate email, and before I could even think of, in the day he left another email arrived stating how much each one in the team should pay for the expensive chocolate they picked. I kind of ignored it, but now I feel some weird looks towards me."
