My Gamer Life is an AsiaOne original series where gaming professionals and aspirants in Singapore share the highs, lows, successes, and failures through personal stories on how gaming has defined the course of their lives.Arthars certainly did, and shared his story of how he met his wife in an interview with AsiaOne for our series on gaming, My Gamer Life.
When he first met his wife-to-be in Final Fantasy XI, Arthars, now 43, didn't think that she was female. Over the course of three to five years, however, that distance slowly closed as they played more games together, and eventually led up to them meeting over a simple issue — setting up a Japanese keyboard."The first time I met her, I was like, 'Yeah, this is the girl.'"Fast forward to the present, Arthars is now a father of three children, aged 16, 13 and 11.
