She found that a box of Weetabix can cost as much as £5.50 for a pack of 48, whilst the unbranded versions from Asda, Aldi, Tesco, Sainsbury's and Morrisons ranged from £1.85 to £2.75. Dayna said they tasted 'identical if not slightly better' than Weetabix. She said: "They held their shape well as soon as you added milk and still had a nice crunchy texture to them.
Dayna also highlighted these were 'much more grainy and crumbly', although they did have a nice taste and retained their shape when milk was added. They were awarded a 3/5.This worked out at under 6p per biscuit, making it similar value for money as Sainsbury's but with a little extra in the box.
