A thoroughly deserving bunch 👏
Hyndburn Business Awards 2023 took place in the recently refurbished Pendle Suite at the Mercure Dunkenhalgh Hotel.
Through in the Pendle Suite, large letter lights spelled out HBA23 on stage while ribboned gin bottle table centres with bouncy hydrangea heads complemented the floral programmes and table plan, kindly printed by print sponsor Media Village. The Mayor of Hyndburn, Councillor Terry Hurn, provided the opening address, with Awards Organiser Rachel Kay, Headline Sponsor Jason Govindji-Bruce of NORI HR and Charity Partner Bonnie Phillips of Community Foundation for Lancashire, taking the stage too to provide their own welcomes and introductions.
The main award of the evening, the Beacon Award, was presented to the most inspiring entry across all categories and went to Lauren Maguire and her team at Brie Mine in Great Harwood. Organiser Rachel Kay said “The Hyndburn business community is so supportive of each other.
