The official forecast track shows the storm lingering off the coast for a few days as a tropical storm before possibly making a second landfall later this week in the Carolinas. In addition, 6 to 10 feet of storm surge will be possible along the Florida coast this morning as Debby continues to move inland.* A Storm Surge Warning is in effect for the Florida coast from the middle of Longboat Key northward to Indian Pass including, Tampa Bay, and the Georgia and South Carolina coasts from the mouth of the St. Mary’s River to the South Santee River in South Carolina.
