The man, in his 60s, was hit by a car in a fail to stop crash in Belle Vale
Police are on the hunt for the driver involved in a fail to stop crash on Naylorsfield Drive, Belle Vale at around 9.20pm on Tuesday, October 31. It was reported that a man, in his 60s, was hit by a car and taken to hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
Officers confirmed that he suffered injuries to his hip, ribs and face. Since the crash, house-to-house and CCTV enquiries have been carried out and the Merseyside police investigation is ongoing to identify and find the driver.READ MORE: Dad left son, 12, to die on M62 as they crossed after drunken crash
Police are appealing for anyone who has any information to come forward. Roads Policing Constable Louis Manning said: "We are determined to find the person who was driving this vehicle and if you have any information or CCTV or dashcam footage, please let us know. "This was a serious collision that has left a pedestrian in hospital with serious injuries and efforts are ongoing to identify and locate the driver.
