SAN JOSE — A big complex of hundreds of affordable homes in San Jose has taken a significant step forward with the purchase of a site where the project would sprout near a Caltrain stop.
Los Angeles-based AMG & Associates has been steering the proposed affordable housing development through the city approval process. In addition to housing, the development would include about 1,100 square feet of retail space, the project plans show.
