Cameron Hughes was filmed using nitrous oxide 'balloons' just before causing Bonny Barrow's death.
Bonny Barrow's family had entrusted family friend Cameron Hughes to drive her from Manchester to Great Harwood in July, Lancashire Police said.
During the 35-minute journey, police said there were numerous close calls with other vehicles, occasions where Hughes was driving in to the hard shoulder, straddling between lanes and his van bounced off a kerb at the edge of the carriageway at over 60mph . Hughes, who admitted causing death by dangerous driving at a previous hearing, was sentenced to seven-and-a-half years in jail and banned from driving for eight years and nine months at Preston Crown Court."She loved doing all the things that teenagers do especially dancing, singing, shopping and making TikTok videos that we treasure.
