The First Minister of Scotland's wife Nadia El-Nakla said that two minutes before speaking to LBC London today her mother called her to say her family were struck by a drone.

She said today: 'Two minutes before this call, my mother called me. My aunt and uncle and their three children - the youngest is just two - were sitting outside their home and they got hit by a drone. Mrs El-Nakla's parents Elizabeth and Maged El-Nakla became trapped in the Palestinian territory when Hamas launched its bloody cross-border attack
She added: 'I want an urgent ceasefire. I want to see humanitarian aid going into Gaza, and I want foreign nationals out.' Mrs El-Nakla said today that her mother, father, grandmother, brother, three nephews, her niece and other members of the family are all in Gaza.
