Police said the victims were standing in the 700 block of North St. Louis Avenue when someone in a car began shooting in their direction.
One man was killed, and two other people were wounded in a shooting Friday morning in the Humboldt Park neighborhood.
Police said the victims were standing in the 700 block of North St. Louis Avenue shortly before 10 a.m., when someone in a dark-colored sedan began shooting in their direction. A 34-year-old man was shot in the shoulder, and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. A 38-year-old man was shot in the lower back and right foot, and was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition.
A 31-year-old woman was shot twice in the left foot, and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where her condition was stabilized.
