THEY have helped soundtrack over two decades of angst and anarchy, but Green Day aren’t mellowing in their fifties.
The Sun can reveal the long-running American band is on the cusp of an epic comeback in a matter of weeks.The group, fronted by Billie Joe Armstrong, are gearing up to drop their new single The American Dream is Killing Me. It will be the first tune from their 14th studio album, which I’m told fans can expect to be released in January.
The record will be their first in four years, following their 2020 chart topper Father of All Motherf**kers.A source said: “It’s going to be a massive year for Green Day fans.
