Despite how well Hill played, Dellandrea found a small window to break the 2-2 tie. His wrist shot went just under Hill’s glove. Less than two minutes later, he beat Hill again, all but securing a trip back to Dallas for Game 6 and back-to-back losses for Vegas — something that hadn’t happened since March.Dellandrea said being a healthy scratch this series wasn’t easy to face.But he had support.
“When you get the opportunity to step up, that’s what he did,” Oettinger said of Dellandrea, “and I’m so proud of him.”
