“My trick, especially if you have medium to thick hair, is to take a dab of treatment mask or conditioner, rub it in your hands, and then start applying from mid-lengths to ends when you’ve just gotten out of the shower. Then – a trick I learned in my runway days – use a barber’s brush, which is what guys use to comb their beard, to comb through hair and get it up into a bun. It’s great because it can help get hair super flat.
“If you have postpartum regrowth or baby hairs that don’t grow, a great tip is to use your eyebrow gel to get them into place – they’re great at bringing edges down too.”
