“No one else can sing like her,” Jessica Chastain said of Tammy Wynette, “but I’m an actor. In the same way she could tell a story through a song, that’s how I’m going to try and approach it.”
To play Tammy Wynette, Jessica Chastain spent years studying her life and recordings, and searched for a way to perform the country music legend’s songs.
