Based on Stephen King's novel of the same name, Christine follows Arnie Cunningham, who buys a red and white 1958 Plymouth Fury named Christine.
Christine's cast was led by Keith Gordon, whose character Arnie buys the Plymouth Fury, setting the stage for a chain reaction of horrific events. The John Carpenter movie's cast also included Alexandra Paul, who later rose to fame for playing Stephanie Holden in Baywatch. However, long before the actress became a household name, she pulled a twin prank on John Carpenter on the sets of Christine.

As Caroline Paul recalls in her book Almost Her: The Strange Dilemma of Being Nearly Famous , she and Alexandra Paul decided to play a prank on John Carpenter on the sets of Christine, where Caroline would pretend to be Alexandra.

Surprisingly, even the bulldozer scene, where Caroline Paul played her sister's character, made it to Christine's final cut.
